Ways to increase fiber:

~ Eat more fruit and vegetables, especially raw
~  Add more beans, seeds and nuts to your diet
~  Eat more whole grains instead of simple carbohydrates like white pasta
and bread
~ Eat vegetarian once or twice a week
~  Read labels and look for ‘whole’ before grains
~  Eat fruit rather than drinking fruit juice
~ Consider a fibre supplement
~  Eat vegetables and/or whole fruit with each meal
